I think it’s a well-known fact that chocolate and peanut butter make a killer combination. I mean, Reese’s are the best candy ever created, are they not? I love chocolate peanut butter anything.
So, I took it upon myself to put this incredible flavor chocolate peanut butter combination into a cookie. I know, I know. You’re welcome.
I promise you that these cookies are everything you’ve ever wanted and more. Have you tried baking with Reese’s peanut butter chips yet? They’re an amazing invention. What will Reese’s come up with next?! You can find Reese’s peanut butter chips in the baking aisle of most grocery stores. Or you can use regular chocolate chips if you want double chocolate cookies, but that’s nowhere near as much fun.
I just had to make a chocolate peanut butter cookie once I found out about these chips. So, these chocolate peanut butter cookies are fudgy, chocolatey, and peanut buttery. I use 2 eggs in this recipe for that added softness, chewiness and moistness. Eggs do so much!
Look how thick these babies are! That’s partly because of the eggs, too. Also, make sure to chill the dough for at least 2 hours; otherwise the cookies will spread too much and you won’t get the wonderfully thick cookie we’re going for.
